FESTIVAL 2010 IN JUNE
The Tamborine Mountain Scarecrow Festival Comittee has decided that the next festival will take place in the last weekend of June 2010, from Friday the 25th till Sunday the 27th.

NEW FESTIVAL DATES: 25-27 JUNE
The festival 2009 had to be postponed due to heavy rainfalls and expected very bad weather conditions. This year's festival will take place in excellent weather conditions....... we hope :-).
The new dates are: 25-27 June 2010.

Three Scarecrow days on Tamborine Mountain: Fun, fun, fun
The Annual Tamborine Mountain Scarecrow Festival is getting closer: 25-27 June 20109.
The residents on Tamborine Mountain create around 300 scarecrows which are displayed over a 14 km trail around the mountain, outside homes, businesses and alongside the road. The trail takes visitors past wonderful scenery, rain forests, parks, art galleries, restaurants, wineries, brewery, cheese factory, gift and craft shops. The trail opens Friday afternoon with judging of entries.

A swag of me mates in the Gardens!
Now, the latest fun thing will be the Garden Club putting a swag of me Mates in the Botanical Gardens, this means extending the Trail down Long Rd and back, so all you folks along this new bit of Trail make sure you get some Scarecrow Mates to line the route.
And at the other end of the Trail we will be going to Rosser Park.

Press release
The inaugural Scarecrow Festival on Tamborine Mountain was held in 2008, the second last year.
It is now an annual event with the next one on 25 till 27 June 2010.
The center of the Gold Coast Hinterland, also well known as 'The Green behind The Gold', Tamborine Mountain, will be the sparkling host of this festivity, that will be appealing for young and old.
