Scarecrow Competition Guide

  • Scarecrow creations must be G-rated and family friendly
  • To be eligible for a prize your Scarecrow must be registered and located on the official Trail
  • Scarecrows can be made from any materials.  A touch of hay or straw is encouraged.
  • Child-entrants must be school-aged with minimal adult assistance
  • First time in fields entrants must never have entered the Festival before.  Other categories can be entered if preferred.
  • Country Cousins – entrants located off the Mountain
  • Display your Scarecrow’s name and rego number clearly on your Scarecrow

Please ensure your Scarecrow is safely made, secured and placed in a safety conscious position for viewing by both pedestrians and from vehicles.

Ensure your Scarecrow is on the trail ready for jugding at 9am on Thursday 28th October.
